Back and nothing much has changed really
I've been MIA for so long haven't I. Sorry, hope all of you haven't given up on this plain old blog and my boring dull life. I shall try to write a little bit more so that you'll have something to read instead of spending all your time surfing your own blog (don't pretend you don't do that too). I've been busy I suppose.
Things are back to normal with the bf and I. I just hadn't realised how much I meant to him and now I do (it took some drama though). I've even met his extended family.. I think I am so bethrothed to him right now. He's all busy again though, final semester of school and he's stressing out over his final year project which involves leaving a mixture out in the open and waiting for it to separate into their component solutions. Intriguing huh. Not that I'm laughing at him (I've done that in his face already), but there's really actually a science which examines this supposed 'phenonmenon', the phenomenon of phase separation. There are books about it, which use chiminology terms like entropy, anionic surfactants, viscosity.. and experiments done by famous scientists about it. I guess it does have its uses (apparently the book says so) in household and industrial items. Intriguing. Really.
We went to the zoo together though, just before he started getting all busy with school. Met every single animal in there. Didn't miss out anyone, regret erasing the picture of the lemurs though. And I can't believe they got rid of A&W. Was looking forward to their coney dogs and root beer. Made do with KFC *grumble*
Wonders of the zoo ranged from seeing beautiful white tigers taking a piss in their village moat, overweight but dainty boars who keep their feet together while drinking, and a varied number of monkeys perched on tree branches who look cute and harmless from far, but really have faces of the devil up close! We also saw Buddha's next descendent, a wild iguana on the loose and a furry adorable tarantula. Oh! And there was this poor looking goat/mule animal which was locked up under a house in the Ethiopian village exhibit! Apparently Ethiopians keep their 'food' under their houses for safe-keeping :\
I also made a personal discovery that monkeys are EVERYWHERE... Even in our daily lives!
Work is getting routine. But boss is always making my life interesting. Big big big big boss (i.e. my boss' boss' boss' boss) from overseas is coming in for a site visit, and I have to give a presentation. Whoopee, I will be famous in the UK. Hope it goes alright, everyone rehearsed alot for it though. Get to show pictures of my darling rats, and that's always good cos it makes everyone go 'aww'. One of the buggers scratched me on the chin though, I am now disfigured *whimpers*.
I still have not signed up for driving. Supposed to do that tomorrow. I think I shall take a break now before I start blogging some more. See y'all laters!
